During SIHH 2016, Audemars Piguet released two Royal Oak Frosted Gold watches: a 33 mm quartz version and a 37 mm automatic. The "frosted gold" used in the manufacture of the case fake rolex and the bracelet is made with a hammering technique by Italian jeweler Carolina Bucci. While the earlier smaller variants were offered in white and pink gold, this 41mm genuine oak will only be available in white gold. It has the blue tapestry dial with a matching blue date window. I always thought Royal Oak shone better with a blue dial (not white). The applied hands and markers are of course golden and filled with a Super-LumiNova splinter to make the watch readable at night. The bracelet is the familiar and very Panerai replica comfortable design. Like its 37mm frosted gold brother, it is powered by the automatic 3120 caliber, which offers 60 hours of power reserve, beats at 3Hz and has the usual monoblock rotor decorated in 22 carat gold, all visible through a screen bottom.
